| Attaching a Signature |

Attaching a signature is a two-part process: First, you enter a signature in your member profile, and then you attach it, either by enabling the Always attach my signature preference in your Profile or Preferences settings or by selecting the Attach signature check box in the message creation form.

| To attach a signature to your message posts: |

If you have not already defined a signature in your member profile, type it in the Signature text box of the profile edit form. How?

Do one of the following:

If you want to attach your signature to the end of all your message posts, click Yes next to Always attach my signature in either the profile edit form or the in the Preferences section of the forum. How?

If you only want to attach your signature occasionally, click No next to Always attach my signature in either the profile edit form or the Preferences section of the forum (How?). Then, include your signature manually whenever you post a message by selecting the Attach signature check box in the message creation form.

 Note: Whether you select Yes or No, you can override your preference in any message you post by selecting or deselecting the Attach signature check box in the message creation form. This check box only appears if a signature is defined in your profile. For more information, see Creating & Posting Messages.
