| Viewing a Member's Profile |
Each member has a profile that he/she sets up while registering for the forum. Members can choose to include personal information, such as occupation, interests, personal web sites, etc. that other members can view. Other information, such as the date on which members joined the forum, the number of messages that they have posted thus far, and a link to a list of all their messages, appears in their profile automatically. For more information, see What Are Profiles?
A member's profile is a good place to go to contact him/her. Several contact options may be available, depending on what the member has enabled.

If they choose to reply to your message by using the forum's Private Message feature, you will not know their e-mail address.

| About avatars: |
Avatars are images and/or strings of text that message board participants use to identify themselves. They are displayed underneath members' usernames when they post messages, as well as in their profiles.
At this time, this forum does not allow the use of avatars because they make it difficult for members with slower computers and Internet connections to display and view the topic pages. If this policy is changed, members will be informed in one of the Announcement topics.
If, in the future, if an administrator enables avatars in the forum, you will be able to select or upload yours in your profile edit form. How?
